    stunning views
    impressive breakfast
    uneven floors
    low doorways
    neglected areas

The setting of the hotel is exceptional, surrounded by stunning views and beautiful gardens, providing a tranquil atmosphere. The breakfast was quite impressive, featuring local dishes that reflected the region's culinary heritage. However, navigating the uneven flagstone floors in the hallways required cautious steps, and tall guests should be mindful of low doorways. Additionally, the restaurant's ambiance, despite its historic charm, was impacted by some areas showing signs of neglect.

staying at convento sao paulo was truly an adventure. the grounds are stunning, and you can easily spend time exploring the beautiful tiles, chapels, and quiet corridors. the breakfast was varied and the courtyard dining experience was special. i loved how the area was so peaceful, giving us a chance to unwind during breathtaking alentejo sunsets.

the restaurant could use a little improvement in the food quality.

    historic ambiance

    Perfect escape for couples

Wandering through the cloisters and catching glimpses of the fine old church is like stepping back in time. The dinner was not just a meal but an experience, enjoying local cuisine under the stars, I felt like a king, .

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but honestly the experience made it worth it.

    breakfast buffet

A solid choice for a weekend rest in Redondo, great for the money. The breakfast buffet in the former monks' dining room was a nice surprise, with local dishes that made for a memorable start to the day. Be careful of uneven floors in the hallways when walking around.

    amazing experience

Recommend it for a peaceful retreat

The old tiles mesmerized me, everywhere you looked there was a story! The once monk's quarters were transformed into comfy rooms, feeling like you stepped into a moment lost in time.

Wasn't exactly cheap but the experience was worth it.
